Driveshaft Repair: From a simple U-joint change to building a large industrial driveshaft, Young’s can repair just about anything.  Young’s is the only shop in Alaska that specializes in repairing Aluminum driveshafts.  We can re-tube, shorten, lengthen, balance and repair damaged driveshafts.  Most driveshaft repair jobs can be completed the same day.  

Differential Repair:  We specialize in all aspects of differentials front or rear.  From replacing a leaky seal, installing a posi-traction unit, to a complete differential overhaul, we can handle it.  Need a ratio change? No problem.  Have a broken axle shaft?  We probably have it in stock.  Our experienced Drivetrain Techs can troubleshoot, diagnose and repair any differential problem.

Transmission/Transfer Case: Transmission/Transfer Case: Young’s specializes in manual transmission and transfer case repair.  We are Alaska's Four Wheel Drive Repair Experts!  From servicing the fluids all the way to a complete rebuild. We also perform complete clutch jobs with in house flywheel turning. All clutches we install are new, no rebuilts allowed. We replace leaky or defective slave and master cylinders on most domestic as well as foreign vehicles.

Brake & Chassis:  If you need a brake job that’s complete and done right the first time, we can do it.  We turn our own brake drums and rotors assuring quality control.  Does your steering or suspension feel sloppy or noisy?  Young’s can replace your ball joints, tie rods and any other related components with quality, in stock, replacement parts.

PTO/Pump:  Young's is a warehouse distributor for Parker Hannifin also known as Chelsea.  We can spec out a complete system or build a custom PTO assembly for virtually any application.  We stock a large inventory of PTO kits and replacement parts.  Our Driveshaft Shop can build a custom PTO driveshaft to fit your needs.
