Doug Coon – Owner
Doug has been with Young’s for more than 22 years. He has 13 years of shop experience along with 12 years of parts counter and managerial knowledge. One of Doug's great assets is his ability to communicate with customers by answering complex drivetrain questions as well as explaining how things work.
Justin Herrin – Owner
Justin has been in the drivetrain field for more than 21 years, 14 of those with Young’s. Justin has worked the parts counter as well as managed the store. His unique personality makes him a professional when it comes to helping customers find what they need. Justin is the true multi-tasker. It is not uncommon to observe him juggling multiple phone lines and helping walk in customers at the same time. His ability to recall part numbers from memory is extraordinary, making him a true talent at the parts counter.
Jubal – Drivetrain Parts Specialist
Jubal is one of our lead parts countermen. He handles all aspects of parts sales and service scheduling. Jubal has 14 years of automotive parts sales experience and has been with Young's almost 3 years now. His professional customer service skills and attention to detail assure you will get the right part the first time. Jubal’s friendly personality and sense of humor make him a great part of our staff.
Lloyd – Drivetrain Parts Specialist
Lloyd has returned! He was our first addition in 2008 working as a Drivetrain Parts Specialist. While only with us for a short time, you will see him again behind the front counter helping customers with parts and service. His years of drivetrain parts sales and his outgoing personality make him a great fit with Young’s. Welcome back Lloyd!
Chris – Service Technician
Chris has worked in the drivetrain field for more than 23 years, 12 of those with Young’s. He has spent time behind the parts counter and his knowledge of all things drivetrain is impressive. Chris’s remarkable ability to diagnose a problem then explain the repair to the customer is one of his greatest assets.
David – Service Technician
David has worked on vehicles for more than 21 years. He has been with Young’s for more than 9 years. David brings years of specialized experience in not only the drivetrain field but in other areas as well. He will take on any task given to him with a smile. These attributes make David a valuable member of the Young’s Team.
Dave – Driveline Technician
Dave has been in the drivetrain industry for more than 16 years, 13 of those with Young’s.
Dave or as we call him, “The Dave” has a unique ability to find ways to repair almost anything that comes across his workbench. Over the years, he has manufactured special tools and fixtures allowing him to make the most of his time repairing driveshafts. If “The Dave” can’t fix it, nobody can.
Nick – Service Technician
Nick is a life long Alaskan and is our newest member of the Young’s Gear team. He brings years of automotive drivability and repair experience to the shop, along with his friendly and humorous personality. Nick enjoys all things outdoors and is a welcome addition to our family.
Matt – Apprentice Service Technician
Matt is also born and raised in Alaska and one of our latest additions to the Young’s Gear crew. He is a recent graduate of UTI Arizona and has a fresh knowledge base in the automotive drive train repair field. His outgoing personality makes him a great fit within our team.
Britt – Office Manager
Britt handles the accounting and record keeping. She also maintains our inventory management system. Her unique personality brings a smile to everybody that has the pleasure of meeting her.
